G2 Surfaces was born out of a pivot and a realization. After years of leading high-rise installations in Atlanta, we saw a massive gap in the market. The industry was plagued by "finger-pointing"—when a floor failed, the manufacturer blamed the installer, and the owner was left with a cracked, unusable surface.
We decided to stop the cycle. We started this company with $500 and a commitment to own the entire process. Today, we are a "design-build" flooring contractor. We don't just lay what’s specified; we design and build floors that sustain the actual needs of the environment.

Looking Three Trades Ahead: We aren’t just looking at the tile. We look at the concrete and the walls months before we arrive. We find the problems in the 1st hour so you don’t have pandemonium in the 11th hour.
Water Laser Leveling: We test the concrete slab early. If it’s out of tolerance, we provide the map and the data to the GC so it can be remediated before the concrete team even leaves the site.
Single-Source Systems: To eliminate finger-pointing, we use one manufacturer for all setting materials. We hold them accountable, and they stand behind our work.
Proprietary Training: Every crew member is trained in our specific "overbuild" methods to ensure maximum coverage and durability.

By analyzing the subsurface and the mud bed, we determined the entire system had failed.
